How to apply for the ORE
Before you complete your application, please ensure you have read and understood the information in 'before you apply'.
Please download the application pack and complete the application form. You can submit your application at any time of the year. Please read all of the documents carefully before applying.
Please read the guidance notes within the application form and make sure that you submit the correct documents. Please note that we will only accept applications that include a NARIC Statement/Certificate of Comparability in addition to a copy of your primary dental degree certificate.
Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will be returned.
What happens next
When we receive your application, we will:
send you an acknowledgement by email within five working days;
check all your documents;
contact you if there is a problem with your application;
email you your ePay log in details once your application has been successful.
Once you have received your ePay log in details, and once exam dates have become available, you will be able to book your exam online using ePay.
On average we currently estimate that it takes one month from the date an application is received to the date you will join the list. The time is takes to process an application will depend on whether the applicant has included all necessary documents, and on referees responding to our email requests in good time.
